I have always been a big reader and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is one of my favorite books, so I went to Mark Twain’s childhood home of Hannibal, Missouri to see what there was to explore in town.

I was able to see the fence Tom convinced his friends to paint and then we headed over to the caves that are such a big part of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn’s stories. I even got to take a dip in a stream to cool off after our tour.

I’m an even bigger fan of Mark Twain now. What an awesome experience!
