By now, you all know I love everything about art. We’ll this week is really special for me. I was able to go to the Olson House in Cushing Maine. This is where the great american painter Andrew Wyeth painted his iconic painting, Christina’s World.
Wyeth was a friend and neighbor of the Olson family. Anna Christina Olson’s lower body had been paralyzed by polio. Wyeth was #inspired to create the painting when he saw her crawling across a field while he was watching from a window in his house.
I hope this movie was as special for you as it is for me.
Love, Bella!
